All of these markers were bought at an art supply shop. Kind of my least favorite place to find black markers, as I expect to find some new markers in there whenever i go. I probably should be more aggressive at picking up these design markers, as they are always being updated or phased out.
El cuadro de Los embajadores, de Hans Holbein el Joven, contiene a los pies de la tabla la anamorfosis de una calavera, como ejemplo de vanidad. Está pintada de manera que sólo podemos reconocerla con una vista rasante.
Para corregir la deformación y poder observar la calavera sin la utilización de un medio informático, nos podemos valer del dorso de una cuchara. Coinciding with his current exhibition at Fifty24SF, Barcelona-based street artist Aryz recently painted a mural in San Francisco in collaboration with public art organization WallspaceSF. Titled “The Style is the Limit,” Aryz’s solo show explores the idea of artists setting limitations on their own creativity in order to develop an individual style. The show features new paintings as well as studies and a sculpture. These small-scale works inform Aryz’s process in creating his enormous, surreal outdoor works.
